We had a truly special day in Grange filled with celebration, memories and fun for everyone.
Our day began with a lovely visit from Kathleen, Michaella and Ceibha from Slieve Roe House/Donard Day Centre. They very kindly made personalised keyrings for our Primary 6 and 7 pupils who had visited them throughout the year. It was wonderful to sit together, chat, share memories and present them with our Tree of Friendship as a token of our appreciation. 💛
Next, we welcomed back a firm favourite – Brennan’s Ice Cream Van! 🍦 A huge thank you to Cora for visiting us again. The ice cream was thoroughly enjoyed by all on such a glorious, warm day.
Primary 7 then continued their cherished tradition of having their shirts signed by fellow pupils – a special keepsake of their time at Grange that will be treasured for years to come.
To round off a fantastic day, we danced the afternoon away at our school disco with DJ Gerry. 🎶 The music, energy and dance moves were brilliant and a great time was had by all! We were also delighted to have a special guest appearance from local legend DJ Francie C – a proud past pupil of Grange and someone our Primary 6/7 class have come to know well through their visits to Donard Day Centre. This made the disco even more memorable for everyone involved.
A truly memorable day celebrating the achievements of all our pupils throughout the year and especially our Primary 7 children as they prepare to leave Grange tomorrow. We are so proud of each and every one of you and are delighted that you had a great day! 🌟
