The boys and girls in Miss Killen’s and Mrs Morgan’s classes had a wonderful start to Children’s Mental Health Week. They came together to practice Mindfulness and using only a marker and a piece of paper they focused on their breathing while slowly making marks on their page. Once they had finished drawing, they used paints to colour in and finish their creations!
With this session we hope that we have equipped the children with some tools to build self-esteem, manage stress and skilfully approach challenges.
