P6/7 children had a wonderful day with local author Declan Carville today. Using his story ‘Nelly Fandango’ they identified story building blocks and different types of characters. They created story mountains and opening paragraphs, drew their main character and then had the opportunity to bring this character to life using animation software. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience and learned some new skills. Thank you so much to Declan and to the AMMA Centre in Armagh for a fantastic workshop!
