Today we held a special Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church to mark Catholic Schools Week and Grandparents’ Day.
Our Primary 7 children read the Liturgy and all of the children joined in singing hymns beautifully.
There were refreshments served in the school hall following the Mass.
Grandparents’ Day is a very special occasion in our school calendar when we acknowledge the important role grandparents play in the lives of their grandchildren. The pupils of Grange are blessed to have such wonderful support from their grandparents and great-grandparents. The large numbers in attendance and, in some cases, the long distances travelled to be here are testament to this.
Today we also remembered the grandparents who are no longer with us and those who were unable to attend due to work commitments.
