We were delighted to welcome local historian Mr. Sean McManus to our school today. He shared his fascinating knowledge of the history of Our Lady of Lourdes Church with our Primary 4–7 pupils. This visit was especially meaningful as the church will celebrate its centenary on 2nd August 2025—a truly special milestone that we look forward to marking together when we return to school in September.
Our pupils were very fortunate to learn from someone so passionate and knowledgeable about our local heritage. Mr. McManus also prepared a wonderful slideshow to help bring the church’s story to life.
We are incredibly grateful to him for his time, effort and dedication to our school community at Grange.
