RNLI Visit
π RNLI Lifeguards Visit! ποΈ
Today, Anna and Hannah from the RNLI lifeguards visited the school to teach the boys and girls about how to stay safe at the beach. Their visit was both fun and informative, helping everyone understand the importance of water safety.
The boys and girls had the chance to ask questions and take part in interactive activities that made learning about water safety fun and engaging.
Primary 3 and 4 then got a photo with Anna and Hannah because they are currently learning all about the RNLI in their World Around Us topic.
Anna and Hannah covered key topics such as:
π₯ Beach Flags – Know what they mean and where it's safe to swim
π Rip Currents – How to spot them and what to do
π Emergency Help – How to stay calm and call for help
π Respect the Sea – Be aware of tides, waves, and weather conditions
π¬ “If in doubt, stay out!”
