Shared Education Trip
Our pupils had a fantastic experience this week as part of our ongoing Shared Education partnership with Killowen Primary School and St Nicholas’ National School. It was a wonderful opportunity for children across all three schools to learn, play, and build friendships together.
KS1: Shared Play at Killowen PS
Our Key Stage 1 pupils enjoyed a day out at Killowen PS, where they took part in a range of fun and engaging shared play activities. The children explored different play zones, worked together in small groups, and enjoyed getting to know new friends from our partner schools.
KS2: Outdoor Adventure at Kilbroney Centre
Meanwhile, our Key Stage 2 pupils headed to the Kilbroney Centre for an exciting day of outdoor learning with Liz Farnan. The theme for the day was “I’m a Kid, Get Me Out of Here!!”—a brilliant, energetic programme focused on problem‑solving, resilience, and teamwork.
The pupils showed fantastic cooperation and enthusiasm, making new friendships while developing confidence, leadership, and collaboration.
A Great Day of Shared Learning - We look forward to many more shared education adventures ahead!
