This week, our pupils enjoyed a fantastic Shared Education visit. It was a brilliant opportunity for pupils to learn, create and problem-solve together through hands-on STEM workshops delivered by Sentinus.
KS1 – Future Builders Workshop
Our Key Stage 1 pupils took part in the Future Builders workshop, where they explored imagination, teamwork and early engineering concepts. The children loved designing and constructing creative structures, experimenting with materials, and sharing ideas with their friends from our partner schools. Their enthusiasm and collaborative spirit were wonderful to see!
KS2 – Code Creator Workshop
Key Stage 2 pupils got stuck into the exciting Code Creator workshop. Using LEGO®, they learned how to design, build and code their own models. From constructing mechanisms to programming movement and sound, the pupils demonstrated brilliant problem-solving skills and teamwork throughout the session.
It was a fantastic day of learning, collaboration and fun. A huge thank you to Sentinus for delivering such engaging workshops, to Joseph at An Ríocht for the use of their facilities once again and to our partner schools for another successful Shared Education experience.
