The children in Primary One have been very busy using their numeracy and thinking skills to solve problems.
They read the story ‘A squash and a squeeze’ and have been working on different ways in which the characters could ‘fit’.
Firstly, they found out that there were lots of different ways to order the animals. Then they tried putting some characters inside the house and some outside and discovered so many possibilities with this too!
There was lots of discussion, reasoning, team work and strategy observed. Well done to the youngest children in our school. 😊
