Special visitors

24th May 2023

During the year we had visits from PSNI to advise us on keeping safe in different situations.  Today it was the turn of RNLI.

Steven and Chris spoke to the children about the purpose of the RNLI both in saving lives at sea and keeping us safe on beaches where there are lifeguards, such as Cranfield.

They taught the children about the different flags, showed them the equipment they use and gave life-saving advice on floating which everyone present practised.

Our visitors were impressed with the children’s knowledge of keeping safe at the beach.  This knowledge was enhanced today by the visit of RNLI and we are most grateful.  We hope that the children look out for the flags and lifeguards on their next visit to Cranfield and pass their safety knowledge onto their families and friends.
