We were delighted to welcome back Ian Campbell from TEN Foundations to Grange today.
Ian visits every other year to sell school bags, lunch bags and pencil cases, all of which are handmade by women in the Philippines. Ian founded the charity in 2012 after witnessing the devastating effects of extreme poverty during a holiday to the Philippines. Inspired to make a difference, he channelled his energy into supporting vulnerable communities and creating opportunities for families through sustainable employment.
Ian was very well supported today by our pupils, staff and families today and together we raised approximately £1,000. We look forward to hearing the final total in the coming days.
TEN Foundations is a fantastic charity doing incredible work and we are proud to support its mission. Thank you to everyone who contributed and helped make today such a success.
