The boys and girls had a fantastic time celebrating World Book Day today. They came to school dressed as their favourite book characters and we were blown away by the incredible variety of costumes.
Every child received a World Book Day token, which can be exchanged for a free book in participating book stores.
Each class took part in a special activity to mark the day:
🌟 Foundation Stage: Drew their favourite book character and wrote a sentence.
📘 Key Stage 1: Designed a book cover and wrote a blurb.
📚 Key Stage 2: Created their own book review.
The winners from each Key Stage received a Waterstones book token. Well done, boys and girls—we are so proud of you all.
